See the stonework, particularly the 140 sculpted capitals, each adorned with floral motifs. Take a closer look at the small "étrésillons" (interior buttresses) that distribute the weight of the upper chapel's massive vaults. The lower chapel also offers glimpses into the chapel's turbulent past. Your guide will share stories of fires, neglect, and near destruction, highlighting the resilience of this wonder.
