I have been on many guided tours around multiple cities but my guide was amazing this time. He was so knowledgeable, nice and genuinely excited to showcase the city and it's amazing art. I learnt so much from him. These things can be borning sometimes even if you love history but my guide made it enjoyable and shared information in such a relatable way that I could not help but be engaged for the full tour. I got to hear the history behind what seemed to be just a normal sign and had I done a walling tour alone I surely would have missed out on its beauty and understanding. Would highly recommend 👌

- Hall of the Colossus: Named after the ancient plaster casts housed here, Hall of the Colossus houses the works of Domenico Ghirlandaio, Filippino Lippi, Paolo Uccello, Perugino, and Botticelli.
- Hall of the Prisoners: The Hall of the Prisoners is named after the unfinished sculptures of four enormous male nudes by Michelangelo. They were commissioned back in 1505 but work remained incomplete due to financial constraints.
- The Tribune: This hall is home to Michelangelo’s David, one of the most remarkable sculptures in Italy. David is surrounded by works of artists like Bronzino, Cecchino Salviati, and Allori, whose style and ideas are said to similar to Michelangelo’s.
- Gipsoteca Bartolini: Housing the works of Lorenzo Bartolini, one of the leading professors at the Academy, and Pampaloni, the collection in this hall exhibits the evolution of Florentine art from New-classicism to Romanticism.
