Hat alles super geklappt mit dem Ticket und dem Audioguide. Mussten nicht anstehen! Nur die Installation des Audioguides mit der zweiten App war etwas mühsam...hat aber dann letztendlich geklappt.

We booked for an early entry to avoid the worst of the heat of the day and were glad we did this because by the time we left, after 10:30, it was very hot.. We were surprised how crowded the Acropolis bacame by the end of our tour and would not have wished to be in the cohorts arriving as we left. Really enjoyed the guided tour audio feed- I am sure it would have been much less informative and interesting without it.

Buying the tickets was straightforward. I bought the Acropolis + Museum audio guide option. The audio guide is just OK. Less informative than a tour guide and sometimes a bit boring. But probably better to have had it than nothing at all. Plus you have the freedom to move at your own pace. The Parthenon is breathtaking and definitely worth the visit. Same with the museum. Absotuely worth the time.

Note: The Athens city audio tour is not available with the Chinese language option.
After booking, you will receive an email from the local supplier with your personal promo code and instructions for the audio tour.
Internet access might be unavailable and the mobile signal may be weak at Acropolis Hill. So please download the audio tour on your smartphone prior to your visit in order to enjoy it offline.
An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Mini 1st generation.
Headphones and smartphones to access the audio guide will not be provided and must be carried by you.
You will need between 100 to 150 MB of storage free on your phone to use the audio guide.

Your e-ticket needs to be either printed or downloaded on your phone. Download the ticket(s) while on WiFi prior to your visit - no wifi/4G on-site.

Ticket Redemption Point

Simply scan your e-ticket at the entrance of the site.
The audio tour is designed to start at the side of the Acropolis entrance from the South-East slopes of the hill.
