Your Experience
Are you one of those people who love to travel by bicycle? Then, this tour is ideal for you. The Wellington guided bike tour brings a unique experience that gives you the opportunity to ride through the aesthetic streets of Wellington and visit some of the most significant historical sites.
As you get on a bike, our guide will show you the Wellington Waterfront and introduce you to historical figures like the Duke of Wellington and Napoleon Bonaparte, who have turned Wellington into the cultural hotspot it is today. This trip is ideal for individuals who have a few hours to spare or those who want to ride on bike lanes. This 10-km route is short and easy to ride.
At each stop on our Introduction to Wellington trip, there is plenty of time for participating in discussions, posing queries, and taking pictures. We'll take you to some of the most important Wellington sites, such as the Wellington Stadium, the New Zealand Parliament, Cuba Street, Te Papa Museum, and Oriental Bayt. Due to the tour's reasonably flat terrain, we use regular bikes. However, you can upgrade to an electric bicycle if you'd like.
In this unique adventure, you will first meet your tour guide, be given a brief about the safety protocols, and spend some time practicing before leaving. You will get to escape the hubbubs of the city and explore Wellington's wild side. Cycle through the Rimutaka Range, Wairarapa's rural roads, to the rocky South Coast, where the mountains meet the sea, and ride back to the city.
