Piękne doświadczenie. Przyjechaliśmy z Hiszpanii. Podobało nam się bardziej niż wizyta w Pompejach. Personel na terenie wykopalisk był bardzo przyjazny. Teren jest bardzo dobrze odrestaurowany. Niektóre domy są tak dobrze zachowane, że można przenieść się do starożytnego Rzymu i wyobrazić sobie, że się tam mieszka. Daję tej wycieczce ocenę 10/10.

Herkulanum było niesamowitym miejscem, które naprawdę ożyło dzięki audiowycieczce. Co najlepsze, było niewielu turystów ze względu na porę roku. Dostępne eksponaty były fascynujące i zapewniały doskonały wgląd w życie ludzi w czasie niszczycielskiej erupcji. Bardzo interesujące było również poznanie różnych technik archeologicznych wykorzystywanych w odzyskiwaniu tego starożytnego miejsca.

Rezerwacja biletów do Herkulanum na Headout była bardzo łatwa! Samo miejsce jest dobrze odrestaurowane, dając ciekawy wgląd w życie przed erupcją! Przejmujące było zejście do poprzedniej linii brzegowej i zobaczenie szkieletów tych, którzy czekali na ratunek! Uwielbiałem obrazy, które są nadal widoczne przez te wszystkie lata później! Jedynym minusem jest to, że jest to co najmniej 20 minut spacerem od stacji. Mieliśmy trudności ze znalezieniem autobusu lub taksówki, które zabrałyby nas na miejsce.

Koledzy podróżnicy - do Pompejów nie wysyłają biletów, trzeba iść wymienić voucher na bilet, co zajęło dodatkowe 20 minut, ponieważ musiałem czekać w kolejce z osobami kupującymi bilety. Szczerze mówiąc, czułem się, jakbym mógł kupić bilety tam, zamiast za pośrednictwem strony trzeciej. Jestem pewien, że są pory roku, kiedy bilety się wyprzedają, ale coś do rozważenia. Bilety do Herkulanum zostały wysłane bezpośrednio do mnie i nie było kolejki. Miałem wejście o 8:30 rano, a pojawiłem się o 14:00 i wpuścili mnie bez problemu. Polecam najpierw udać się do Pompejów, ponieważ są bardziej popularne.

Imponujące jest zobaczyć osobiście, jak głęboko miasto zostało zakopane i jak daleko od morza. Fakt, że szkielety zostały znalezione na pomostach jest bardzo imponujący. Znalezienie dzieł sztuki, które zdobiły domy, freski, mozaiki... posągi to cud.
