I've enjoyed a lot the parade and also the people who works there which could explain many things about the penguins and the natural reserve in general. It was an amazing experience.

The experience itself was absolutely incredible! The little penguins were incredibly cute and we were very lucky with the weather so outstanding. Having said that, the tickets experience can be improved. We had to chase our tickets and were only emailed them ah hour before the experience and only because we chased. I'm sure you guys can do better than that.

Penguin island was fabulous- really enjoyed it . The farm was okay but had a good cafe and the walk was interesting. The Antarctic was shut so I'm very disappointed I bought for tickets and only got to see three . That said it was still good value for money

Lovely Parks and easy access with all the passes. Just a tip, take people's phone away or something at the penguin parade, unbelievable how many people still took pictures at the beach or on the boardwalk back to the visitor centre. Really sad to see. Other than that great experience!!

Which part of Phillip Island can I visit with my Penguin Parade ticket?

If you have a Penguin Parade ticket, you can visit the shore area where the penguins emerge. With the multi-park, you can experience the Penguin Parade, Antarctic Journey, Churchill Island, and Koala Conservation Reserve, depending on the number of parks on your ticket.

Do I have to visit all of the attractions in one day if I buy a multi-park pass?

No, if you purchase a multi-park pass, you only need to book the date for your Penguin Parade visit, which will be printed on your ticket. You can visit the other attractions, such as the Koala Conservation Reserve and Churchill Island Heritage Farm within six months of the printed date.

What time do the penguins arrive?

Penguins arrive at sunset every day of the year. Refer to this chart to get an idea of their arrival time. The arrival cycle is natural and without human intervention, so patience may be needed if they take longer. A good way to estimate their arrival time is to check when they arrived the previous day, as they tend to follow a similar schedule.

What should I get to the Penguin Parade?

The Penguin Parade takes place at sunset and outdoors. It's recommended to bring warm clothes and a raincoat if rain is expected. A rug or a blanket to sit on the seats can also be useful (It’s also a great way to secure your spot in the common sitting area) If you have kids with you, consider bringing a bucket and spade for them to play with while waiting for the penguins, as there's plenty of space to keep them entertained.

Are there dining facilities at the attractions?

Yes, all the attractions except the Koala Conservation Reserve have a café on-site serving coffee, snacks, drinks, and full meals.

What payment methods are accepted by the parks?

Only contactless transactions are accepted at all ticketing counters, food & beverage shops, and retail outlets. Cash is not accepted.

Why can't I take photos of the Penguin Parade?

Penguins have sensitive eyes, and bright flashes or unusual lights can frighten or disorient them. To ensure the penguins continue returning to this area, cameras, camcorders, and camera phones are not allowed after sunset at the Penguin Parade.

Is there public transport available between the parks?

No, there is no public transport available between the parks. You will need to use your own car, a rented car, or book a guided tour to visit all the attractions on the island.
