Turns out Ebenezer Scrooge wasn't the only person to be visited by ghosts on Christmas Eve. In this new retelling of A Christmas Carol, Bob Cratchit sets out on a time-bending quest through Christmas future. Titled 'December,' Cratchit was streamed last year at the Old Red Lion Theatre. The play version has been reworked for its offline premiere.
Cratchit stars Olivier Award winner John Dagleish (Sunny Afternoon). Dagleish had previously played the role during the Old Vic’s 2017 production of A Christmas Carol but now plays Cratchit's character in this alternative retelling. Performing alongside him is Freya Sharp (The Bandaged Woman) as Martha Cratchit.
