Although busy and crowded the scences on top was amazing. We visited just be sunset and saw the Eiffel Tower light up. I would highly recommend this experience. I would definitely also suggest a quick stretch before climbing all those steps!

Tolle Aussicht von oben. Die vom Arc wegführenden Straßen, insbesondere die Achse vom Grand Arche in La Defense über den Arc de Triumphe bishin zum Louvre, sahen toll aus. Aufstieg mit fast 300 Stufen ist aber nichts für unsportliche Menschen. Das Ding ist schon echt hoch. Sieht aber auch von unten sehr beeindrcukend aus.

Bellissima vista bello tutto ma per fare tutte quelle scale a chiocciola mi girava la testa ed era molto faticoso, sarebbe meglio fare l opzione del biglietto con ascensore

Our tour guide was funny, witty and it was a good experience. Well recommended. There is mostly a but: it was a little hard to find, no flag, no colored whatever...some random guy pointed us to a guided tour nearby, probably starting 19.15. I was asking the tour guide, if we are in her list, but she was extremely unfriendly and sent me away, but after two minutes I tried to ask her again and she was furious and almost yelling at me. I think she was crazy, but it was embarrassing. Our tour guide we found later was great, so I was happy to pick coincidentally the right one:)

Our guide was fun and incredibly helpful. We enjoyed the Arc scenery and it wasn't too busy. The Tower was far too crowded; the experience left a lot to be desired. We are glad we hadn't purchased an experience ticket including champagne for the summit - it was overcrowded and took almost an hour to get from the summit to the top floor. Get it done first thing in the morning and never do it again.

Keep in mind that smoking, large luggage, non-folding buggies/prams, big bags, baby strollers, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, other large rolling objects (except foldable pushchairs, medical or assistance vehicles for persons with reduced mobility), sharp objects, glass bottles, padlocks, and cans are not allowed on this experience.

Please note that there is free admission during the following days: European Heritage Days on the third weekend of Sep, and every first Sunday of the month from Nov to Mar.
Entry is free for anyone under the age of 18 years, and for European Union nationals or non-EU residents in France aged between 18 and 25 years (an ID is necessary).
Entry is free for disabled guests with an accompanying adult, jobseekers (on presentation of a certificate less than 6 months old), and holders of a valid education pass.
Entry is also free for soldiers, gendarmes, and CRS carrying the professional card and “Sentinelle” mission order, members of ICOM and ICOMOS, holders of the Ministry of Culture card with a companion.
