The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is a place where these giants roam freely while enjoying the company of their human friends. Don't worry about transport as an expert driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the sanctuary. When you arrive, your English-speaking guide will explain how these behemoths live their daily lives. You'll then change into some beautiful traditional Karen outfits. After that, it's time to meet your new best friends – the elephants. You'll feed them their favorite treats like bananas and sugarcane and pose with them for some truly elephantastic pictures. After a rejuvenating mud spa treatment, you'll walk to the river with your big friends and watch them splash around as you brush and scrub them. 8:30am: Arrive at the sanctuary and learn about the elephants' lives and care
9:00am: Meet the elephants! Feed, interact, and play with them in their home.
9:45am: Enjoy a fun mud spa experience with the elephants
10:30am: Bath time! Head to the river and help scrub them
11:30am: Enjoy a delicious traditional Thai lunch
12:00pm: Depart from the sanctuary and return to Chiang Mai

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary

You are welcome to bring your camera to the experience. However, unless your device is waterproof, it is recommended not to use it during the mud activity or while bathing the elephants in the river.
The sanctuary offers a complimentary photography service. A professional photographer will accompany you and will upload the photos taken to the EJS Chiang Mai Facebook page. You can find the images labeled with the date and program name. Please download the images within 90 days from the visit date, after which the photos will be permanently deleted.

Mama Noi Thai Cooking Class

Children below 10 years old are only visitors and cannot participate in the cooking class.
