Following its successful run at Lincoln Center Theater’s Off- Broadway house, J.T Rogers’ intelligent and absorbing political drama about behind-the-scenes manoeuvring that led to the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords, comes to Broadway. A dark and comic tale of epic proportions, Oslo recounts the unheard true story of a young Norwegian couple- diplomat Mona Juul and her husband, social scientist Terje Rød-Larsen.
It is the tale of how they strategized and executed high-level meetings in incredible secrecy between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organisation. It is the year 1993 and the world watches in shock as the Oslo Accords (the first-ever peace agreement between Israel and PLO) is signed. There are many questions; how were negotiations kept secret? Why were they held in a castle in the middle of Norway? And who were the mysterious negotiators?

Critic’s Reviews
- “This rich drama of quixotic politics fills to the bursting point its capacious new home… ‘Oslo’ has now become the colossus it was always meant to be, while giving an even sharper focus to the urgent behind-the-scenes intimacy at its fast beating heart…”
-- Ben Brantley, The New York Time
- “Gripping and insightful theater that is bound to make even the most die-hard partisans in the seemingly never-ending conflict between Israel and Palestine reevaluate everything they think they know…”
-- Zachary Stewart, Theatermania
