A day at Cairns Aquarium will take you close to the stunning biodiversity of the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. From sharks, rays, and freshwater fish to pythons, crocodiles, and emerald tree monitors, the aquarium houses more than 16,000 animals across 11 zones. It is the one spot in Australia where you can find a 10-meter Deep Reef Tank and the country’s largest freshwater exhibit, a unique experience you don’t want to miss out on. Throughout the day, you can enjoy access to immersive and educational experiences including daily ecosystem talks, live diver feeds, a mangrove boardwalk, a 20-meter underwater tunnel, and much more.

Your ticket includes a 30-minute tour of the world’s first conservation program committed to safeguarding all 415 known species of Great Barrier Reef Hard Corals. See the largest collection of hard corals on the planet, housed in a state-of-the-art biobank designed to keep them alive forever.
