The outside of the castle was magnificent, it's a little tricky to navigate around once inside, we had the audio tour who was a bit bulky compared to other ones we have used this week.
Skip the ticket office lines and step into Chambord, a masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture. Explore its grand halls, marvel at its intricate towers, and walk through its sprawling parkland.
Getting started
Arrive at the Chambord Castle and head straight to the entrance after security checks. Your ticket skips the long ticket office lines but note that standard security screenings still apply. Have your ID ready for validation, then pick up a free visitor’s guide or watch a 20-minute film to set the scene for your visit.
