Started out rough, since your rep didn't have our names as paid, registered participants. It took abt 20 minutes before she received confirmation. That was very frustrating. Pissible reasonnfor not using your company again. Alexi, tour guide - was fabulous, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the history come alive for me!

Hi, We did the Doge’s Palace guided tour & went back to The Tour Shop at 2pm for St Mark’s basilica & Pala d’oro but were told we didn’t need to wait for a guide & we should just walk over to St Marks Basilica & do a self guided tour, we showed him the tickets we were given at 12 that showed an entry time of 15:10 & asked did we need to go then to which he said we could go any time & not worry what time the tickets said. We went to St Marks at 15:10 but were told the tickets we had didn’t include the Basillica & were in fact for another museum called Correo or something. I think when we went back at 2pm after the Doge’s Palace tour the guy at the shop didn’t understand our situation & gave us the wrong information which led to us missing out on 1/2 of the tour we had booked so I would like to request a 50% refund please.

We had an early morning tour, and was throughly satisfied with the experience. It was a bit confusing in the meeting place, where no sign was found and the distribution of the audio receiver took a while. Once the tour started, we zipped through lines and the guide was very professional. The tour lasted two and a half hours total for both the Palace and the Basillica, just the right time to see all the important places without getting too tired. The tour ended on the Basillica terrace, where one can linger a bit longer to take in the view of St. Mark's square. Of course, these iconic places in Venice totally worth a visit and the information the guide provided makes the visit much more meaningful.

Doge's Palace

St. Mark's Basilica

A ramp is available at the Porta del Fiori (Door of Flowers) entrance on the left-hand side of the basilica.
The Museum on the upper floor of the basilica is served by both a lift and stair lifts.
