Przewodnik był bardzo miły, bardzo dobrze poinformowany i bardzo elastyczny. Podczas rezerwacji biletu wspomniano, że wycieczka po kopule była wliczona w cenę (choć bez przewodnika), po dokonaniu rezerwacji okazało się, że żadna wycieczka po kopule nie była wliczona w cenę. Kiedy próbowaliśmy zmienić rezerwację lub złożyć skargę, czat był opóźniony, więc zawsze musieliśmy zaczynać od nowa. Rozwiązanie znaleźliśmy dopiero na miejscu, nie z headoutem, ale bezpośrednio z dostawcą w miejscu spotkania. Udało im się przebukować bilet bez żadnych problemów, mimo że wejście na kopułę nie było już możliwe.

Wspinaczka na kopułę była doskonała, ale byliśmy rozczarowani, że nie pozwoliło nam to na bezpośredni dostęp do głównej katedry i musieliśmy ponownie stanąć w kolejce. Nie jestem pewien, jak udało nam się przeskoczyć jakiekolwiek kolejki zgodnie z reklamą...

Wejście do florenckiej katedry, dzwonnicy i tak dalej wymagało długiego oczekiwania, więc dobrze było uniknąć czekania przez długie godziny. Przewodnik miał dużą wiedzę na temat historii, a jej opowieść była interesująca.

Nasza przewodniczka była niesamowita!!! Była energiczna, kompetentna i mówiła wyraźnie, więc łatwo było ją zrozumieć (nie zawsze tak jest). Nauczyliśmy się tak wiele i cieszyliśmy się naszym czasem.

Climbing the Cupola

At the end of the tour, your guide will lead you to the entrance of the Cupola. From here, you can climb to the top and discover it at your leisure. Halfway through your journey to the top, you will get to see the magnificent arched fresco of The Last Judgement by Giorgio Vasari. The vivid imagery replete with realism will not fail to leave a mark on you. The end of your journey will be rewarded by the breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Florence.

Know before you go

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Clothing that covers the knees and shoulders. Sandals/flip-flops, hats, and sunglasses must be removed before entry.
Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography is a no-go inside the venue.
Leave your luggage and backpacks behind. Only small bags are allowed inside the museum.

Accessibility

Ramps are available at the Museum, Cathedral, Baptistry, and Santa Reparata for easy access.
The Dome and Bell Tower are not accessible by wheelchair and not recommended for guests with mobility issues, back problems, or heart conditions.
Guide dogs (with relevant certification) are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

There are a whopping 463 steps to the top of the Dome and 414 steps to the top of Giotto's Bell Tower, with no elevator access. Are you up for the challenge?
Dome access is so exclusive, even guides can't get in. Yep, you read that right! Dome access is just for the privileged few, so you'll be unaccompanied for that part of the tour.
