The ease of booking/ app for accessing tickets... just would have sped things up at the gate if we had a barcode instead of having to cross check a number on a printed spreadsheet. Also wish we had know there was no photos to be taken as I had hoped for some footage to use with my class.

I would have loved to know the penguins only come out at 6:40, I had been told to wait outside over an hour earlier and it was freezing gold. Would have loved to have heating outside and not have to wait so long

Ticketing experience was ok the experience with the penguin was really good but we will come in summer as it was a bit cold

The experience seeing the little penguins was ruined by inconsiderate people bringing food, this brought pooing swooping disgusting seagulls. Also no matter how many times the guides reinforced the "NO PHOTOS" rule, it was only the Non English speaking people deliberately breaking the rules, hovering excessively not allowing other especially children to view the penguins.

Considered to be the world’s tallest residential skyscraper, the tower has been an imposing structure in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne since its completion on 1 June 2006. From your unique vantage point at a height of 300 meters, you will be able to see Albert Park Lake, the Dandenong Ranges, Port Phillip Bay, the MCG, Federation Square, and much more. There are about 30 viewfinders installed on the Skydeck to assist you in spotting these great landmarks in Melbourne.

Peek into the Penguin Haven

Every morning, little penguins (they're only a bit taller than bowling pins!) depart from their burrow and spend the day fishing at sea. During the course of the day, they will travel up to 20 km in search of fish. After dusk, they return home and waddle across the beach in a penguin parade. It's one of the cutest displays of wildlife you will get to see and the sheer quantity of the penguins will surprise you. The best part is that the park is accessible within 90 minutes from Melbourne, and is an attraction that both adults and kids alike will enjoy!

Phillip Island Nature Parks Penguin Parade

It's recommended to arrive approximately 1 hour before the penguin arrival time, check in at the visitor center, then walk to their viewing area to wait for the penguins.
Click here to see the estimated penguin arrival times throughout the year.
Penguins will arrive at the coast at sunset and the penguin homing usually lasts about 50 minutes.
Photographs and video recordings are not allowed when penguins are coming home.
Only small carry-on bags are allowed inside.
Bring along your warm clothes and raincoat if rain is forecasted
