We had an awesome experience at Sealife ! Photographer was friendly! Photos was spotted on! Tickets was a Little dear but it's worthwhile, walking distance from our hotel that a bonus! Could have gone there on our first day upon arrival xx

Skydeck is simply lack of staff and it took us half hour just for queuing for the lift leaving the venue. It is horrible...

There was glare from some of the windows, which made it impossible to get decent photos. I have never experienced this from Skydecks before, as it is always assumed that the purpose of the structure is to allow maximum visibility of the view

Considered to be the world’s tallest residential skyscraper, the tower has been an imposing structure in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne since its completion on 1 June 2006. From your unique vantage point at a height of 300 meters, you will be able to see Albert Park Lake, the Dandenong Ranges, Port Phillip Bay, the MCG, Federation Square, and much more. There are about 30 viewfinders installed on the Skydeck to assist you in spotting these great landmarks in Melbourne.

Choose the Plank Experience for a thrilling VR journey where even the bravest contenders are convinced that they are balancing on a narrow, wobbling VR plank at staggering heights above Melbourne. Live on the edge with the Edge Experience as you walk into a glass enclosure suspended at a height of 300 meters above ground level. The Skydeck Adventurer is for the brave and offers both the Edge and Plank experiences.

The Thrill Seeker experience includes the Edge and Voyager Theatre experiences. The latter is a VR experience where you take a seat in one of the 24 award-winning reality ‘pod’ chairs and embark on a 360-cinematic journey through 16 Melbourne experiences. Choose the MAX VR Experience to combine entry to the Skydeck with the Voyager Theatre and the VR Plank experience.The Ultimate Skydeck as the name suggests, combines all the Skydeck experiences - Entry, Edge, VR Plank, and Voyager Theatre. Go for this option to make the most of your visit to Skydeck!

The Edge is easily accessible by wheelchair & children 7 yrs or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Additional information

Guests 12 years and under must be accompanied by parents or guardians. The recommended age for VR experiences is 8 years.
The Edge is a giant glass box in the shape of a cube that can carry up to 12 passengers at a time.
The 'Edge Master' will oversee your entry into the cube and time spent inside (approximately five minutes).
Please note that booking the Edge experience does not guarantee express entry to the Edge experience. The Edge cannot be booked for a specific time.
The Edge is on a first come first served basis and customers are given an electronic pager to be placed in a virtual queue to await their ride (wait times vary depending on the time of year).
For general Melbourne Skydeck viewing allow up to 45 minutes.
Ultimate Skydeck package allow 2 hours.
MAX VR Experience package allow 1.5 hours.
Edge Experience package allow 1.5 hours.
Bar 88 is located on the Skydeck and offers a range of cocktails, fine wines, coffee or soft drink and a range of gourmet pastries including pies, pasties and sausage rolls are also available.
