Used the hop on hop off service twice during my stay, it was so well organised. Really user friendly and easy to hop on and off. The drivers are super friendly and informative. An easy way to see the sights and hop off when you want to see more. Highly recommend!

The Red Route allows you to travel to many of Hobart's most sought-after tourist hotspots at your own pace with a pre-recorded audio commentary available in 8 languages. You can choose from 20 different stops to see the best sights in and around the city. You can get on and off the bus as many times as you want, or you can stay on the bus for a 90-minute city tour. The red double-decker buses let you see all the beautiful parts of the city, like the River Derwent, Tasman Bridge, kunanyi/Mt Wellington, and more.

Schedule

First bus: 9am from stop #A (Travel Centre)
Last bus: 3pm from stop #A (Travel Centre)
