Chciałbym coś zmienić w moim doświadczeniu w Pałacu w Knossos, miejsce zasługuje na bardzo dobrą ocenę, ale uwaga, 0, OGROMNE zero. Z drugiej strony, moje doświadczenie w Muzeum Archeologicznym w Heraklionie, zarówno miejsce, jak i uwaga jego personelu, zasługują na najwyższą ocenę, wybitną. W Pałacu w Knossos personel był bardzo nieuprzejmy i wcale nie pomocny, co bardzo mnie zaskoczyło ze względu na różnicę w traktowaniu w moim kraju, Peru, kraju znanym z życzliwości swoich mieszkańców, gdzie uwaga poświęcana turystom jest najwyższej klasy. W Knossos, przy wejściu, chociaż miałem informacje na telefonie komórkowym, osoba przy kasie była bardzo lekceważąca i nie próbowała pomóc mi zidentyfikować dokumentu, który musiałem mu pokazać. Następnie udałem się do drugiego punktu kontrolnego, faktycznego wejścia i było tak samo, zadałem pytanie i nie tylko nie odpowiedzieli mi, ale zdecydowali się powiedzieć, że moje pytanie nie należy do ich obowiązków i to wszystko. Zrobiłem wycieczkę na własną rękę, a przewodnik audio w ogóle nie pomógł, to tylko podsumowanie historii, a nie przewodnik audio, wyjaśniający, co widzisz. Odwiedziłem miejsca takie jak Killing Fields w Kambodży, gdzie Czerwoni Khmerzy mordowali ludzi, a przewodnik audio jest NAPRAWDĘ przewodnikiem audio, wyjaśnia każde miejsce, które widzisz, przewodnik audio w Knossos NIE JEST PRZEWODNIKIEM AUDIO. Po dwóch godzinach i kilku kolejkach - były setki turystów podróżujących w grupach - wychodząc, po zbadaniu odwiedzonych miejsc zapytałem jednego z pracowników stojących w pobliżu o fresk delfinów, którego nie widziałem, zrozumiałem, że nie ma go już w pałacu, a ten człowiek był bardzo niegrzeczny, wolałem go pominąć i zapytać inną osobę, która potwierdziła moje wątpliwości. Z drugiej strony moja wizyta w Muzeum Archeologicznym była bardzo pozytywna. Po zakończeniu wizyty w Pałacu Knossos udałem się do Muzeum dwie godziny wcześniej niż się zarejestrowałem, a przy wejściu wyjaśniono mi, że muszę wrócić o zaplanowanej godzinie lub godzinę wcześniej lub później niż zaplanowano, co zrozumiałem. Ponieważ było zbyt wiele osób, zadbałem o to, aby przejść się po Muzeum i zobaczyć najważniejsze dzieła, a w niektórych momentach musiałem prosić o pomoc personel, który zawsze był uprzejmy i kompetentny. Pod koniec wizyty zauważyłem, że nie odwiedziłem części Muzeum, więc wróciłem, ale nie mogłem jej znaleźć. Zapytałem jednego z pracowników Muzeum, a ona wyjaśniła mi, że ta część była tymczasowo zamknięta i uprzejmie mi odpowiedziała.

Minojski pałac w Knossos to obowiązkowy punkt programu podczas pobytu na Krecie, a my poczuliśmy atmosferę tego miejsca, którą można uzyskać tylko osobiście, odwiedzając zarówno Knossos, jak i Muzeum Archeologiczne w Heraklionie w październiku. Biletowanie przez Headout działało dobrze: Pobrałem bilety dla nas dwóch na mój telefon i zostały one zeskanowane przy wejściu. W obu miejscach jest zaplanowany czas wejścia i byłoby pomocne, gdyby czasy były bliżej siebie. Tak się złożyło, że nasze wejście do Knossos było rano (dobry pomysł, aby uniknąć tłumów), ale nasze wejście do muzeum dopiero o 17:00, więc musieliśmy wypełnić czas innymi zajęciami. Pomocne okazały się przewodniki do pobrania po obu miejscach. W Knossos podążaliśmy za przewodnikiem ze słuchawkami w uszach i nie czuliśmy, że brakuje nam przewodnika na żywo. W rzeczywistości dało nam to elastyczność w poruszaniu się we własnym tempie i zatrzymywaniu się, kiedy chcieliśmy. Cieszę się, że odwiedziliśmy oba miejsca, ponieważ Knossos to tylko ruiny z kilkoma zrekonstruowanymi sekcjami, podczas gdy muzeum wypełnia luki sztuką, obrazami, rzeźbami, ceramiką, biżuterią, narzędziami itp. które faktycznie pochodzą z terenu pałacu. To było wspaniałe doświadczenie edukacyjne.

L'audioguida ok, ben fatta e interessante. Ho comprato il biglietto combo on line: sono una giornalista over 65 e in teoria non avrei dovuto pagare! Ma non c'era l'opzione senior e la gratuità si poteva ottenere solo sul posto. La cosa peggiore però è stato il fatto che avendo scelto la visita al sito alle 10 ci hanno fissato la visita al museo alle 17! Visto che il nostro hotel era a oltre 2 ore di viaggio abbiamo ricomprato i biglietti.

Guida audio esauriente, buoni contenuti, indicazioni chiare con foto utili. Ci è stato assegnato un orario di visita del museo di Heraklion (h.17-18) incompatibile con la necessità di ripartire per la nostra sede a quasi 3 ore di viaggio e troppo lontano dall'orario della visita degli scavi di Cnosso scelta da noi (h.10): abbiamo dovuto ricomprare il biglietto del museo per poter entrare alle 15. Inoltre non è stato possibile online beneficiare dello sconto over 65.

La facilité de booker. Mais le prestataire devrait indiqué les horaires de visites des 2 lieux à visiter. il manquait celui du musée archéologique et pour cause il était bien plus tard.. nous avons attendu 1 heure sur place.

Heraklion Archaeological Museum

Heraklion Archaeological Museum and Knossos Palace

Please note that your entry to Knossos Palace will either be at 8am, followed by entry to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum at 1pm or entry to Knossos Palace at 10am followed by entry to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum at 5pm.
This is a self-guided audio tour: there's no live guide or meeting point.
Wear comfortable shoes to both attractions. Comfortable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen during the hot summer months would help during a visit to the Knossos Palace.
The Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum are two of the most visited sites in Crete. It's advised to start your visit early in the morning. Expect more crowds during the holidays and over the weekends.
Free/reduced admission tickets don’t have fast access privileges and can only be acquired at the ticket booth on-site.
This Museum experience is suitable for wheelchair and pram/stroller users whilst the Knossos Palace is unsuitable for both these guests.
Carry a photo ID such as a passport, government ID, or a driver’s license.
Suitcases or trolleys are not allowed inside both the Museum and Palace.
The specified time applies to your admission into the Palace of Knossos. You have the flexibility to access the Archaeological Site at any time during the chosen date.
