Knossos is amazing, Amazing,it was really beautiful i just had some other issues. About Headout. we are picking official site of Knossos to buy tickets i you offerd us headout. we bought tickets it costs 19 eur, and we understood that we had a audio guide in that prices. but no, it was only entry tickets. for me it was not written on this site. second, when i made online paymet my bank didnt allow the payment, because the bank blocked headout trader. best regards Sanja

We found it difficult to follow the audio guide and felt that if signage had been placed in the appaitate places that corresponded the numbers in the guide, we would have watched the correct part of the audio guide at the right time. Pathways were a little rough in places with not enough handrails. Otherwise the site was very interesting and we enjoyed reading the information boards where we needed further information.

Knossos Palace was disappointing. The €15 admission fee felt steep, and it was difficult to navigate as there were no arrows to guide you through the site. The information panels seemed outdated and heavily reliant on Arthur Evans' subjective interpretation. While I'm not an art history expert, I'm sure modern archaeologists and historians have differing views on Knossos. Tour guides quoted us €150 for a family of five with teens aged 15, 16, and 17. The Heraklion Archaeological Museum is much more engaging, offering a deeper understanding of Knossos, with breathtaking artefacts on display.
