The morning begins with a hotel pick-up, after which you will meet the tour driver. Collect your voucher and your Kuranda Boarding Pass before transferring to Freshwater Station. Climb aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway and cruise across the scenic waterfalls, ravines, and tunnels in the mountains. Pass by the cane fields of Cairns on your way to the tropical forest of Kuranda. Explore the amazing rainforest village of Kuranda. Walk through the Heritage Markets that operate seven days a week and showcase a variety of wares: from arts and crafts to local honey and tropical ice cream. While in Kuranda, you should also visit Birdworld, The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, and Kuranda Koala Gardens. While you have to buy tickets, your Kuranda Boarding Pass offers entry discounts.

At the end of your exploration of Kuranda Village, go to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Take the cableway over the UNESCO World Heritage-recognized rainforest.
