Dom i meble zafascynowały nas. Luksus tamtych czasów, który pięknie pielęgnowałeś, odrestaurowałeś i zachowałeś, oczarował nas. Przy wejściu byliśmy trochę zaskoczeni, że dziewczyna, która prowadziła grupę o 11:00, w której byliśmy, najpierw zapomniała o nas, a później, w połowie krótkiego filmu, który jest pokazywany jako wprowadzenie do historii rodziny Amatller, zdała sobie sprawę, że nasze urządzenia i słuchawki, których nie aktywowała. W przeciwnym razie wrażenia z samego budynku i luksusu sztuki, która jest wpleciona we wszystkie elementy przestrzeni życiowej rodziny Amatllerów, są wspaniałe.

Bij aankomst herkende de dame (zeer ervaren) niet de tickets. Ze moest goed zoeken en uiteindelijk vroeg ze mij om de bevestiging per mail te laten zien op mijn telefoon. Headout was niet echt bekend bij ze.

A Quick History

One of the most recognizable structures in the city, Casa Amatller was created employing modernism, an art nouveau design movement that originated in Catalonia. The house features four upper stories, a garden, and a ground floor that has been turned into a museum. The structure has 3 primary elements that reflect Amatller's passions – chocolate, vintage glassware, and photography.

What's in Store

Enter the apartments that Amatller and his daughter Teresa formerly called home by ascending the grand staircase at the entrance. Don't forget to look up as you enter and admire the stained-glass skylight! Enjoy the Romanesque altarpiece, a Bartolomé Bermejo Hispanic-Flemish table, and Baroque and Ramón Casas paintings. You'll also get a chance to see other cultural items like photos by Rogent, Lalique jewelry by Lalique, and glass collections with historical significance.
