Sunwook Kim
Sunwook Kim is a South Korean, London-based pianist. Aged just 18, he became the youngest winner (in 40 years) of the Leeds International Piano Competition and shot to international acclaim. He has since established a reputation as one of the finest pianists of this generation and has worked with the world’s leading orchestras and chamber musicians.
The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has been a cultural beacon since its foundation in 1893. The orchestra performs more than 150 concerts a year in the South and South West of England, tours internationally and has appeared on the world’s greatest stages including Carnegie Hall, New York; The Royal Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; and Musikverein, Vienna. Remarked as one of UK’s best orchestras, The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has worked with many internationally acclaimed composers and musicians and has been lead by some of the most esteemed conductors including Rudolf Schwarz, Marin Alsop and Sir Dan Godfrey.
