Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9
Symphony No. 9, popularly known as the New World Symphony, was composed by Antonin Dvorak in 1893. Written while he was the director of the National Conservatory of Music of America, it is not only Dvorak’s most popular symphony but also one of the most famous of all symphonies. Dvorak incorporated his impressions from his time in New York in the Ninth Symphony which also reflects its European and Bohemian roots.
Gustavo Gimeno
Born in Valencia, Gustavo Gimeno is a Spanish drummer and conductor. He was a member of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Amsterdam as an assistant to Mariss Jansons and began his international conducting career in 2012. He is now the Music Director of the Orchestra Philharmonique de Luxembourg.

The Radio Filharmonisch Orkest ( Radio Philharmonic Orchestra) is a Dutch radio orchestra founded in 1945. Having had numerous distinguished conductors stand at its helm, it is a leading light on the Dutch musical horizon and guarantees adventurous programming and high-quality performances.
