Directions in the email and ticket to initiation spot were different, then I went to drop off point and could not find sign. Saw the bus and tried to flag the driver and he passed me by. So I never go to use the bus. Took a 20 taxi each way to Miramare and would like my money refunded.

The exhibit was great, very interesting, Information available in different languages. The view and castle and gardens are breathtaking. Booking worked without any problems

Il castello è favoloso da vedere, appena siamo giunti sul posto ci hanno fatto entrare subito. Il parcheggio è stato invece difficile da trovare, perché c'era tantissima gente che si fermava in "spiaggia" a fare il bagno! Consiglio: arrivare qualche ora prima per prendere il posto, soprattutto se si desidera visitare il castello nel mese di agosto 😉

Mit den online vorbestellten Eintrittskarten sind wir sofort reingekommen ohne an der Kasse im Schloss warten zu müssen. Es hat alles super funktioniert. Das Schloss selbst ist ein schöner Ort, direkt am Seeufer lokalisiert. Die Zimmer und die Ausstellung sind beeindruckend. Es war auf jeden Fall sehenswert.

Mindenki barátságos volt, a 35-38 fok ellenére is. Különleges hely, ezt érezni a helyszínen. A lugast imádtam, az egész kert különleges, még ma is... Felejthetetlen emlék marad, a feleségem, sógorom és sógornőm miatt🇮🇪☀️⚓️❣️

Miramare castle

Perched atop the Grignano promontory near Trieste, Miramare Castle, a former Habsburg residence, boasts stunning white architecture overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, surrounded by a 54-acre park. The park showcases a diverse array of plants, curated by the archduke during his global travels as admiral of the Austrian Military Marine.

The castle's architecture blends Gothic, Medieval, and Renaissance styles. Explore over 20 rooms, including Maximilian’s Chambers, the Throne Room, and Charlotte’s Music Room, all adorned with original furnishings and ornaments dating back to the mid-19th century. Wander through Miramare Castle Park, which includes greenhouses, stables, and the miniature 'Castelletto'. Recently restored stables now host temporary exhibitions.

Dogs are allowed on board. It is mandatory to wear a muzzle or a pet carrier.
