It was a stunning place to visit and you could really spend hours exploring and hanging out there in nature... I will definitely be going back!

Es una experiencia que está bé però crec que no està del tot ben marcat a dins del recinte. Quasi tot és exterior i la part del castell O palau es molt petit i no massa interessant. El pou no es fan espectacular com sembla a la foto de l entrada i el preu el trobo excessiu pel que veus realment

It's a must to book your ticket on line. We jumped the queue and walked right in. And believe me the queue was very long. The Regaleira was amazing! Definitely a worthy trip.

The grounds were incredible, easily could spend more than half a day touring the area. Having the self guide audio tour was a bonus so we can do what we wanted and listen as we were heading to different areas.

El palacio de la Pena está muy bien! Aunque si no te gustan los espacios pequeños.. quizá no sea el mejor lugar para ir. Hay muchas personas y cuando llega un grupo grande es un poco agobio, pero las vistas son increíbles. Muy importante el transporte HASTA la entrada del recinto... subir a través del sendero es un poco duro, no recomendable si no tienes experiencia haciendo senderismo. Sobre la Quinta da Regaleira.. bueno, es como un parque muy grande con diversos monumentos/ esculturas repartidas por el mismo.

Get ready for a Romantic castle, chapel, and opulent park with lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a wide variety of wonderful structures that make up the property. There are five stories in the palace including a ground floor, three upper floors, and a basement. The living room, dining room, billiards room, balcony, a few smaller rooms, and a number of stairs are all connected by a network of halls on the ground level. There are extensive tunnels, a Chapel, Park, Initiation Wells, Lakes, fountains, and the aquarium and whatnot spread over the property.

Monserrate Palace & Park

The Monserrate Palace, or Palácio de Monserrate, is an opulent mansion close to Sintra, the traditional summer retreat of the Portuguese court, in the hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean north of the country's capital, Lisbon.

Afonso Henriques is said to have constructed a chapel to the Virgin Mary during the reconquest of Sintra (circa 1093). On top of the hill, another church “Our Lady of Monserrate” or “Virgin of Montserrat” was built in 1540 on top of its ruins. The terrace opens up to a spacious park. With a lake, several springs and fountains, grottoes, and an abundance of rare kinds of vegetation, it is built in a romantic manner. Plants from all around the world are arranged in the garden according to region. Araucaria and palm trees, tree ferns from Australia and New Zealand, strawberry and holly bushes, cork oaks, and agave and yucca plants from Mexico are among the local native plants that may be found.
