Stunning View of Tatra Region from Treetop
Be prepared to be received from your hotel in Krakow as you drive towards the folk village of Ždiar. Admire the traditional wooden houses before embarking on a 30 to 40 minutes hike up to the treetop path. If you wish to avoid walking then hop into a cable car and relax as you head to the treetop paths. Situated in the forests of Bachledova Valley, the pathway is surrounded by tree crowns. Stop every now and then at breathtaking vantage points to take awesome snapshots, and if you’re lucky then you may sight the highest peak of the Pieniny mountains, the iconic Three Crowns Massif.

Next, head to the base of Morskie Oko and begin hiking for the next 2 to 2.5 hours along a paved roadway surrounded by the beautiful Tatra mountains. The breathtaking view of the Morskie Oko Lake, formed by glaciers will definitely be worth all the walking. Surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Tatra Mountains and home to many animals, and birds, Morskie Oko is the perfect place to end your day trip.
