Great day out to mt Fuji! Damon and the driver was excellent and made the trip realky fun, and did their utmost to mitigate the traffic issues from the bank holiday, really reccomend!

Very well organised except bit to find how to get on the tour. Lovely guide and coach driver who kept us informed. Just shame about the traffic caused by an accident.

Especially our Guide David H Miyata made this trip great. He is very energetic, positive and honest. A great communicator and funny. He gives lots of information. We had a lot of traffic jam this day which was a pitty, but he made the best of it. We were Lucky to see mount Fuji and 2 lakes. In summertime mount Fuji is not that special (no white snow top) but still good to see it. Unfortunately we good not make it to the Hot spring onsen....because of the traffic. So, despite of that overall it was a good trip. Easy to find the pick up point at Tokyo station north gate exit. And David with is yellow flag of gogotours was easy to find.

Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka

Post the mountain's visual treat, the tour heads to Lake Kawaguchi, the largest of the renowned Fuji Five Lakes. Known for its mirror-like water reflecting an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji, the lake is a photographer's paradise. Boat rides, cultural sites, and scenic walks along the shore, subtly narrate the tales of the lake's deep-rooted heritage. The tour's final stop is at the highest of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Yamanaka. The lake, also known as 'Swan Lake', offers you a dip into natural hot springs while you bask in the picturesque views of Mt. Fuji and the distant Mt. Hakone. Interestingly, the name 'Swan Lake' originates from the swans seeking warmth during the colder months. - Lake Motosu Fuji Shibazakura Festival (Apr 13 to May 26) (approx 1 hour)
- Lake Kawaguchi Music Museum (Jul 11 to Oct 19) (approx 1 hour)
- Kawaguchiko Maple Leaf Corridor (Oct 20 to Nov 23) (approx 1 hour)
12:10pm: Soak in the hot springs at Lake Yamanaka and see Mount Fuji (approx 1 hour 10 mins)
2pm:
- Arakurayama Sengen Park (Oct 1 to Apr 25) (approx 1 hour)
- Mount Fuji 5th station (Apr 26 to Sep 30) (approx 40 mins)

Additional information

Each participant can carry 1 small handbag/backpack. If you need to carry suitcases or large luggage, please make a note when booking.
Participants aged 70 and older will need to provide a health certificate (an electronic version is fine) to show they are healthy enough to participate.
Due to weather reasons, we will only go to Mount Fuji 5th station during the itinerary from April 26 to September 30. At other times, we will go to Arakurayama Sengen Park.
A tour guide is holding a yellow flag with the 'Gogoday' logo at the meeting point. Also, there is a sticker with 'Gogoday' on the vehicle.
Due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, the itinerary may change, including shorter sightseeing times or canceled attractions. To prevent inconveniences, please refrain from scheduling additional activities or transportation following the conclusion of the tour.
