ALBERTINA Museum
The ALBERTINA Museum is centrally located, next to the State Opera and Hotel Sacher. Here, masterpieces by the likes of Monet, Cézanne, Gauguin, Renoir, Munch, and many more adorn the walls. Once the city's largest residential palace during the Habsburg monarchy, the premise is now an internationally renowned art museum. This era has been memorialized within the 20 Habsburg State Rooms in the building. Get the chance to walk in the footsteps of the imperial family, if the rooms are open during your visit.
There are also up to 14 different special exhibitions every year, representing a palette of art across all geographic regions from the Middle Ages to the present day. The gallery is home to over 65,000 drawings and around 1 million old master prints.
