Best botanical garden I've ever been to. Beautiful walk and the orchids! So many colors, all beautifaly arranged, beautiful paths, lawns to have picnic on, clean. I would prefer to have a better food court than what they have but the flowers beat this unpleasant fact. I suggest to taky plenty!! of water, a snack and come early in the morning, it´s cooler and there will be probably less people. And of course in Singapore it´s extremely hot so wear something breezy and comfy plus good shoes

The Garden was easy to get to using the MRT and a gentle stroll through the Botanical Gardens. The property is beautiful and amazingly well cared for with spectacular orchids to view and specialty areas that will make you gasp. Recommend visiting this stunning place even if your not an experienced gardener as it's well worth it.

Under the Important Information of the confirmation email, it advises the ticket redemption point as the National Parks Board. As I had entered closer to the National Orchid Garden, I walked all the way to the National Parks Board to redeem my ticket. I couldn't find anyone to speak to as access to the building was restricted. Upon asking at the Botanical Gardens Nassim Gate Visitor Centre nearby for information, they were able to help to find out that the tickets could be redeemed directly at the National Orchid Garden. It would be helpful to update the information in the email to the correct location as it's quite a distance to walk between the two buildings in the heat and humidity. (copied from the confirmation email) Important Information Please bring a valid photo ID proof for verification. Ticket Redemption Point Show your ticket at National Parks Board. Very easy to wander around and see everything in a super organized fashion. Flowers were incredible, staff was helpful, and the entire experience was hugely comfortable. Will certainly go back in the future.

Located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens itself, the National Orchid Gardens is the country’s first-ever UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is, therefore, a world-renowned attraction. Since the year 1859, orchids have been closely associated with botanic gardens. The Gardens’ orchid breeding program deserved a place to showcase the end result, in all their colorful splendor. You could say these orchids were handcrafted by the horticultural staff at the Botanic gardens! This garden boasts over 1,000 species of orchids and 2,000 hybrids of 2 or more orchid species. Walk through the four zones based on seasons, each glamorous with their individual color spectrums.

This facility is wheelchair accessible.
Nearest car parking is available at the Tyersall Gate Carpark at Tyersall Avenue and Nassim Gate Visitor Centre Carpark at Cluny Road.

The closest bus stop is Bef Tyersall Ave, almost 20 minutes away from the National Orchid Garden by walk.
