A green oasis in the Bronx
The New York Botanical Garden is a living museum where nature thrives year-round. Explore more than 50 unique gardens, including the Native Plant Garden, Rose Garden, and the famous Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. You’ll find yourself surrounded by a rich variety of plants from around the world, with serene paths and hidden spots perfect for a relaxing stroll or peaceful reflection. NYBG is not only a place of beauty but also an educational hub, where you can learn about plant conservation and sustainable gardening practices.
The Orchid Show: Mexican modernism
From mid-February through late April, The Orchid Show: Mexican Modernism takes center stage at NYBG, celebrating the beauty of orchids through the lens of Mexican culture and modernist art. Inspired by the vibrant designs of architect Luis Barragán, the exhibit features stunning arrangements of orchids that reflect the bold colors and geometric patterns found in his architectural works. It’s a visual celebration that combines art, culture, and nature in an unforgettable way, making it a perfect addition to your visit to the garden.
