Small group guided tour
During this tour with a local guide, explore the vibrant Parc Güell in depth—one of Barcelona's most well-known landmarks. Get personal attention from your guide on this small group tour and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site with skip-the-line tickets. Renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí created this architectural gem, which is a must-see for every traveler to Barcelona or fan of design.
Explore in depth
Start your tour at the main staircase that leads into the park which is dominated by a multicolored lizard covered in a beautiful tile mosaic. Barcelona is recognized for its distinctive design skills, including the intricate trencadís tile work style. Proceeding deeper into the park, pause at the central plaza, where the serpentine-shaped seat covered in trencadís is positioned on either side.
See the lower court of the park by stepping below the plaza. Walking routes and viaducts situated atop sloping columns, as well as a phalanx of 86 Doric columns, sustain this beautifully planned region. Numerous observers have seen the mutually beneficial connection between Gaudí's creations and the environment, which is apparent in the tree-like layout of the lower columns.
Gaudí used to spend a brief stay in the modest house on the property, which is now a small attraction. The mansion was turned into a museum, complete with a range of pieces made by this extraordinary artisan.
