Muzeum i teren są absolutnie piękne i jest to obszerna kolekcja niesamowitych prac Rodina z niespodziankami. Ostrzegam, że nie ma klimatyzacji i robi się duszno, więc ubierz się odpowiednio, ale nie pomijaj tego miejsca w swoim kalendarzu podczas pobytu w Paryżu.

Wystawa Pollocka była niesamowita. Studiowałem Pollocka na studiach magisterskich w latach sześćdziesiątych i widziałem wiele jego prac. Ale to było ekscytujące zobaczyć tak wiele jego prac zebranych w jednym miejscu i zestawionych z dziełami Picassa i innych. Kolekcja muzeum jest oczywiście wspaniała. Ale ostatnim razem, gdy odwiedziłem kolekcję 2 lata temu, była zamknięta. Było więc szczególnie miło doświadczyć tego podczas tej podróży. Co za wspaniały dzień!

The Rodin museum was one of my favorite museums in Paris. I toured the sculpture garden first then enjoyed getting the context and history from the museum exhibits. A few days later I visited the house of Antoine Bourdelle, a student of Rodin, which provided even more color around Rodin's influence.

Lovely museum in a nice house set within a great garden. I did not know much about the artist before and found the audio guide insightful and enlightening. The museum is not as busy as some of the other Paris attractions.

Picasso Museum

The Picasso Museum occupies the stately Hotel Salé in the historic Marais district of Paris, France. This 17th-century mansion is considered to be one of the finest historic houses in Marais and is now home to over 5,000 works and many more archived pieces belonging to Pablo Picasso. Making up this collection are thousands of paintings, sketches, studies, sculptures, drafts, notebooks, photographs, illustrated books and films, and documents that showcase the artist’s creative process. The exhibitions are laid out in a manner that allows you to chronologically understand Picasso’s artistic intentions, marvel at his experiments, and uncover the hidden clues in his works!

Rodin Museum

The museum is free to enter for all on the first Sunday of every month.
Once you exit the museum, you will not be able to re-enter.
Note that this is not a guided tour.
A cloakroom is available to use, free of charge if you wish to store away your belongings.
The museum offers free entry on first Sunday of every month from 1st Oct to 31st March 2025.
