Es war wunderschön, das vorneweg. Aber unter einer Bootsfahrt haben wir uns mehr als ein Übersetzen auf die andere Seeseit vorgestellt. Auch Tour mit dem Panoramazug ist Zurückbringen an den Startplatz. Das ist alles in Ordnung, darf aber gerne in der Werbung auch so genannt werden.

The park is gorgeous and well organised with the boats and train. I would have liked more handrails on the boardwalks that are over water. Ticketing experience with Headout was fine.

Ticketing was simple and easy online. Ticket confirmation station was close by, and the experience was awesome! Spectacular views from the boat, and train (bus) ride was convenient. Overall, the logistics was great!

Die Organisation mit Parkplätzen, Einlass, Bahn- und Bootsfahrt war wirklich hervorragend. 👍👍 Auch die Ticketbuchung im Voraus war perfekt. 👌 👌 Nicht gefallen hat uns das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken, die bereits kurz nach der Mittagszeit gar nicht mehr geordert werden konnten. 👎

Step into Croatia’s Largest National Park

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvice Lakes National Park greets you with a symphony of colors—turquoise, emerald, and deep blue—reflecting in the crystal-clear lakes. Wooden footbridges and pathways wind through the lush forests, guiding you on an enchanting exploration. You begin your journey taking in the breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down moss-covered cliffs. Watch the Great Waterfall, Veliki Sla, plunging down a height of 78 meters, and go for a tranquil boat ride on the largest lake of the park, the Kozjak. A panoramic train ride will take you through the verdant forests, where you can catch sight of deer herds and bears thriving in nature.

A Day amid Nature's Best

Vibrant orchids peek through the foliage carpeting the park in over 1200 plant species. Continue your adventure, following the hiking trails that lead deeper into the park. You have the option to choose between the north entrance, known as Plitvice lakes entrance 1, located just above the Lower Lakes, while the south entrance, Plitvice lakes entrance 2, is next to the Upper Lakes. With the northern entrance, you get to explore the lakes Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, and Novakovića Brod of Donji Jezera Canyon and the 12 lakes of Gornja Jezera if you opt for the southern entrance.

Luggage storage facility is available at respective entrances.

Note that the following are not allowed during this experience: Photography for commercial purposes, cycling, and drones.
The park is not entirely wheelchair accessible.
