Good introduction by tour guide. He was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the castle. What could be improved is better directions to where to meet your guide in the courtyard. We had to ask a couple of people before we were shown where to meet up.

The church was spectacular but the castle was a big letdown. Only a few areas open and nothing in them. Very strange for such a grand historical building of it's size.

A causa di un contrattempo sono arrivata 1 ora dopo l'appuntamento fissato ma mi hanno chiamato e sono stati gentilissimi, abbiamo atteso il turno successivo senza perdere la presentazione della guida. La guida signora Bianca è stata fantastica, ci ha raccontato la storia le origini e vari aneddoti sul Castello, precisa e molto preparata. Non ho messo il massimo della valutazione per l'unica criticità riguardante l'audio guida opzionale che ho trovato un po' superficiale nei contenuti. In ogni caso ripeterei l'esperienza e la consiglio.

We got lost and was late for the start of the tour. They called us and walked us through directions on how to get to their office and walked us to the tour to catch up with the others. They went above and beyond and your guide was knowledgeable and good speaking voice.

Prague Castle

Circuit B allows access and entry into the most iconic structures and buildings around Prague castle. You will visit St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, Old Royal Palace, and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. The confluence of various structural styles makes Prague Castle a treat to the eyes.

A notable example of Gothic architecture in the complex, St. Vitus Cathedral is the most important church in the Czech Republic. Inside it lies the tombs of several Bohemian Kings and Roman Emperors. In addition, it houses the Bohemian Crown Jewels, which are kept in a hidden room that has seven locks. The seven keys are held by prominent members of the Czech government and the Archbishop of Prague, who must gather together to open the impenetrable door.

Astronomical Clock Tower

Get your tickets in front of the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square. Here you'll be informed about the history of the Gothic structure. Learn fascinating stories and the tower's significance in 20 minutes. Then, skip the line and head to the famous 600-year-old marvel. Explore how it tells the time, provides the date, shows astronomical and zodiacal information through its parts. Most of these parts are centuries-old and have been meticulously maintained over the years.

Every hour 2 small trapdoors open from which 12 apostles march out, regaling their stories in a "Walk of the Apostles". The statues come to life. Among them, you'll hear the Grim Reaper ringing a bell - an animated tradition to check whose time has come. At the landmark, you'll get a chance to take the stairs or the elevator up the tower and witness the spectacular skyline of the City of a Hundred Spires.
