Cityrama: Porto Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

Conhecer a cidade do Porto através do narrador foi incrível. Vivi no Porto 6 anos e confesso que foi nostálgico perceber que de facto Porto é uma cidade encantadora.

It made life easy to cross through the city. We stopped at the river; did a cruise on the water; hop-on and enjoyed the ride.

Several of the earbud boxes did not work. The stop button if you wanted to get off was not always easy to find & once it was broken.

Bus, Route und vor allem die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren sehr gut. Die Erläuterungen über das automatische Band bei der Stadtrundfahrt sind allerdings staubtrocken und ohne jeden Kontextbezug. Interessante Themen mit Gesamtüberblick wie z.B. die wirtschaftliche, gesellschaftliche und kulturelle Rolle Portos im portugiesischen / europäischen Kontext fehlten.

Très difficile pour nous qui ne parlons pas le portugais et marchons mal de trouver une station pour monter . Je pensais qu'il y en aurait eu une près de l'hôtel . Et non . Cela nous a pris une heure épuisante pour trouver et en prenant aussi un taxi . Après , dans le bus , le premier jour , pas de problème. Le lendemain , embouteillage continuel.

Online Buchung und Abholung im Shop verlief ohne Probleme und die Fahrt mit dem Bus wie gewohnt ebenfalls 🙂 deutsche Beschreibungen über die Kopfhörer im Bus war OK!

Le circuit Orange n'était pas agréable puisque nous avons été pris dans le trafic presque 30 minutes et il n'est pas pertinent. Le circuit est plus intéressant.

Not a lot. The info on where to find the ticket office to change our voucher for tickets was awful, unclear and confusing. Plus the office didn't open 'till 9.30 and the ticket said you must get your bus at 9.00. So we panicked and thought what do we do now? We found the ticket office and when it was 9.30 we got our tickets but an hour of panick was not how we wanted on our first day. We thought the recorded commentaries were dull and inaccurate in their timing. We didn't know which side of the bus to look at what we were being told to look at. All in all not a great experience.

The info on redeeming my ticket was confusing. The audio guide was out of sync at some places and some stops were skipped without warning. The driver on the last orange line of the day on Friday was clearly in a hurry to get home as he sped through the streets, through red lights! However Porto is beautiful and the blue line in particular is a great way to get out to see the coast and hop off to walk along the beach!

Ticket purchase as well as the pick up location was very simple to use. All locations were mapped and identified well, and the audio portion was descriptive and clear

Buying tickets on internet was easy and website was user friendly. However redemption was not straightforward as the recommended ticket redemption office in Rua do Infante was closed at 09:00 and there were no instructions that it was necessary to walk to nearest stop 12 in Ribeira to find the bus and driver and redeem the voucher. Otherwise very pleased with the tour and the choice of stops. Both routes blue and orange were visited and the shorter orange route is more a tour of shops. Tour of the city of Porto by hop on hop off bus is highly recommended as it is a rewarding experience at a very good price. Recommend purchasing a tour package involving 48h bus tour plus river cruise and wine cellar as this is the most cost effective.

Ce bus est très pratique mais sur le dernier arrêt une bonne heure d'attente a l'arrêt de bus .

La place dans le bus ,le parcours bleu beaucoup plus intéressant que le orange.

Die Rundfahrt hat einen guten Überblick über Porto gegeben. Tolle Route!

O passeio foi legal, porém o dia estava muito quente em Porto e o ônibus não.dispunha de ar condicionado.

Not all stops were properly mentioned, noted or made : bus skipped Serralves entirely! So...not so good, unfortunately.

Easy to book, and for a traveler to enjoy a day out means a lot. Will do it again!
