The Sanctuary of Truth is a modern architectural marvel, composed entirely of wood without any metal nails. Its construction follows the building techniques of the past, representing the best of hand-hewn woodworking in Thailand. The construction of the temple is meant to exemplify the religious philosophy of impermanence, and the complex has 4 wings dedicated to Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Indian religious iconography. Take in the intricacy of the wood carvings as you walk around the building with your expert local guide, who will tell you more about the cultural and historical significance of the 105-meter tall building.
