The entrance to the Alcázar palace, the Lion’s Gate has a white ceramic tile with the emblem of a heraldic lion. Just beyond this is the oldest area of the palace, called Palacio del Yeso. Beyond this is the Patio de la Monteria where the kings gathered prior to a hunt.

The Ambassador's Hall aims to leave guests awestruck as they enter it. It has a gilded ceiling that is adorned with geometric lacework, and is breathtaking to see in person. The ceiling is supported by horseshoe-shaped arches with detailed motifs of lions and castles.

The Patio of the Dolls is a courtyard within the private areas of Alcázar Seville. The anime originates from the four doll faces that adorn the patio’s arch and lead to the entrance. Two of its floors were added in the 19th century. Intricate plasterwork adorns the motifs of the patio, and is a reminder of the outside gardens. 

Also known as the palace of King Don Pedro, Palace of Peter 1 is located right next to the Gothic palace of Alfonso Xat. It serves as a private building for Peter 1 and features numerous engravings and writings in Arabic to extol its virtues.

Alcázar Seville is the world’s oldest royal palace still in use, and the royal family lives in the Royal Apartments. There are 11 rooms in the Royal Apartments, and they are filled with numerous tapestries, furnishings, paintings, and more!
