Szybki wstęp. Obsługa w Topkapi Café była nieco zagmatwana, a pracownicy nie byli zbyt zorientowani na klienta. Były bardzo gniewne komentarze od niektórych osób z sąsiedztwa. Wycieczka była w porządku

Zarezerwowałem wycieczkę łączoną do Pałacu Topkapi i Bazyliki Cysterny. Dzień wcześniej otrzymałem wiadomość WhatsApp zawierającą szczegółowe informacje na temat miejsca spotkania z przewodnikiem i opcjonalnych godzin zwiedzania Bazyliki, co pomogło zaplanować nasz dzień. Nasz przewodnik po pałacu nie miał silnego głosu, więc konieczność konkurowania z innymi gośćmi i przewodnikami utrudniała odbiór dźwięku. Przewodnik w Bazylice Cysterskiej nie przebywał zbyt długo z naszą małą grupą i ponownie trudno było usłyszeć, co mówi ponad innymi przewodnikami. Koncepcja pominięcia kolejki okazała się jednak nieoceniona, ponieważ wszystkie atrakcje miały bardzo długie kolejki po bilety i wejścia, a my przeskoczyliśmy wiele z nich. Z perspektywy czasu zapłaciłbym tylko za audioprzewodnik, a nie za osobę fizyczną.

Ominięcie kolejki było naprawdę przydatne, a posiadanie przewodnika było świetne. Aby sprostać oczekiwaniom, przeprowadził nas przez strefy bezpieczeństwa, a następnie opowiedział nam trochę o historii pałacu i okolic. To było świetne. Wskazał ważne kolekcje, do których można się udać, ale sam nas tam nie zabrał. Ma to sens, biorąc pod uwagę, że jest to tylko godzinna wycieczka. To duży kompleks i wiele do zobaczenia. Nie było też zestawów słuchawkowych, więc naprawdę trzeba było się zbliżyć, aby słuchać, co było nieco trudne w dużej grupie.

Nasz przewodnik był niesamowity, żadnych skarg. Jednak myśleliśmy, że to wycieczka z przewodnikiem po pałacu, ale skończyło się na wycieczce do ogrodu, gdzie wyjaśnił wszystkie pokoje, a następnie zostawił nas po 45 minutach, aby odwiedzić każdą atrakcję.

Podobał mi się budynek, architektura, chciałbym usłyszeć, co mówią napisy. Miałem nadzieję zobaczyć harem, byłem tam dawno temu i zapomniałem o tym. Skarb był doskonały, ta część była bez przewodnika, ale przewodnik nie mógł pomóc w wąskich korytarzach. Bardzo się cieszę, że poszedłem.
