Getting the ticket was easy and straight-forward. Unfortunately, there was no line at the ticket booths when we got there, so it didn't make much of a difference, especially given that there was no escaping the waiting in line for an empty car... The Ferris wheel is quaint and nostalgic on its own. I loved that there were explanations of what we were seeing and the views are breathtaking, even more so around the sunset, when the lights in the surrounding amusement park come on...

Wien von Oben ist schön anzuschauen, nachdem die Stadt schon von unten bewundert wurde. Allerdings wurden leider alle Tische in den anderen Kabinen gedeckt, als wir drin standen. Was teilweise zu langen Stopps an jeder Stelle geführt hat. Ich hätte dafür lieber 2 Umrundungen gemacht.

Alles hat gut geklappt. Nur war die Schlange zum Anstehen, um Tickets zu kaufen so klein, dass es sich gar nicht gelohnt hat, diese Tickets zu kaufen.

Everyhing was great. Nothing to complain. The best thing it wasn't overcrowded at the vagon, they let in only few people at the moment.

The Giant Ferris Wheel offers more than a traditional Ferris wheel cart ride. The newly constructed The Wheel of Time – shown through the ‘Panorama’ installation – revives much-loved Prater traditions with artistic and technical audio-visual elements in eight cabins. Taking on two thousand years of the city’s history and stories about the Prater, discover the city in an extremely unique manner – high above the ground (64.75-meters to be exact) on this quintessential Ferris Wheel.
