By Bus: To get to Dubai Mall, you can either opt for bus route 27 or bus route 29. Buses on both routes have a frequency of 16 minutes. Board off at the tourist drop-off area right in front of the Grand Drive Entrance of the Dubai Mall.  By Metro: You can board the metro on the MRed line and get off at the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station which is an 8-minute walk from the mall. You can also cross the Metro Link Bridge and soak in the view of Downtown Dubai.
