Your Experience
Your Experience
The Teide National Park is amongst the most sought after tourist attractions in Spain. Mount Teide is also the highest volcanic peak amongst the Atlantic Ocean islands. As you ascend to an altitude of 3,555 meters in a cable car, you will catch several glimpses of all the surrounding islands such as La Gomero and El Hierro. After disembarking from the cable car, you will have to trek a short distance along the Pico Viejo trail. The sunset visible from this trekking path has consistently been hailed as one of the most magnificent sunsets in the world.
Join your guide for an unforgettable stargazing experience. Watching the inky black canvas littered with millions of tiny lights is a truly humbling experience. With a range of professional telescopes at your disposal, you can spot many of the most popular constellations, as well as a few lesser-known ones. Your guide will help you identify the planets, galaxies, and celestial bodies that you will come across as you scan the heavens. If you choose to head to the volcanic peak on a full moon night, you can clearly discern many of the moon’s terrestrial features such as craters and hills.
