You will ride to Lake Tikitapu in New Zealand’s only genuine World War II landing cart while viewing the spectacular colors of your natural surroundings.
You will pass through the sacred Laka Tamareka and the Buried Village of Te Wairoa. Finally, you will witness the grandeur of the legendary Mount Tarawera, a volcanic mountain that erupted in 1886. Please dress to suit outside weather conditions. While heaters, blankets, and roll-down sides are provided on the tour, it's better to wear warm and waterproof clothes on cooler days.
