Your experience
Your experience
Walk through WWII's tragic past at the Auschwitz sub-camps, a place that gives chilling details of the atrocities during the Nazi reign. Listen to the bone-chilling stories that your English-speaking guide will share during your round-trip transfers. Here is an overview of what you can expect during the tour.
Visit to the Judenrampe
The Judenrampe was a crucial part of the Auschwitz complex, specifically designed for the unloading of trains carrying Jews from occupied territories. This process often marked the beginning of a harrowing journey, as many of the arrivals were sent directly to the gas chambers.
C.O.T building – "IG Farben Werk Auschwitz" Exhibit
The exhibit highlights IG Farben, a major German chemical company that operated the Auschwitz-Monowitz camp. Artifacts such as documents and personal belongings reveal how laborers produced synthetic rubber and other materials essential to the Nazi war effort. You will discover how inadequate medical care and shelter contributed to high mortality rates among the inmates.
Purpose of the SS Canteen
The SS Canteen was built to serve the SS officers stationed at Auschwitz. While the officers dined lavishly, the prisoners were given inferior meals. The canteen shows the deep inequalities within the camp and the moral decay of the Nazi regime.
KL Auschwitz Wirtschaftshof – Bor/Budy camp
It functioned primarily as a forced labor camp. One of the most disturbing aspects of the camp was the practice of using human ashes in composting. This horrific method was a reflection of the extreme dehumanization and cruelty exercised by the Nazis.
