Set off from Marquês de Pombal in the morning and head to Belém Tower, where you will get 30 minutes of free time to roam the premises. A wonderful example of the famous ‘Manueline’ architectural style and a representation of Portugal's Age of Discovery.
Visit the Monument to the Discoveries to identify the 32 significant Portuguese characters from navigators, cartographers, warriors, and artists. Jeronimos Monastery, the final resting place of explorer Vasco da Gama and many other national poets and kings.
Lastly, spend 1.5 hours discovering the majestic Ajuda National Palace. Marvel at its exquisite interiors, grand halls, and stunning royal collections.
