Ponieważ negatywne aspekty, które napotkaliśmy w autobusie Hop On Hop Off, nie zostały wymienione powyżej, chciałbym wykorzystać to miejsce, aby wspomnieć o naszych "niezbyt korzystnych" kwestiach. Dźwięk w naszym autobusie nie był wcale dobry. Wyglądało to tak, jakby połączenie w naszych słuchawkach było wadliwe, ale po zmianie siedzeń i otrzymaniu nowych wkładek dousznych mogliśmy stwierdzić, że wina była zdecydowanie w samym systemie dźwiękowym. Dźwięk był bardzo trzeszczący i stłumiony. Siedzenia w autobusie były zdecydowanie za małe dla dwóch osób, ale ich liczba była bardzo ograniczona. Usiedliśmy na dole, ponieważ autobus na górze był pełny. Z moim mężem i mną na siedzeniu dosłownie siedziałam pupą na parapecie autobusu. Nie było to zbyt wygodne i spowodowało, że nabiłam sobie paskudnego siniaka na udzie. Siedzieliśmy w autobusie przez około 4 przystanki, aż zdecydowaliśmy się wysiąść, ponieważ było nam tak niewygodnie. Niektóre osoby z naszej grupy zostały zmuszone do siedzenia na półce na paczki z tyłu autobusu, tylko po to, aby mieć gdzie usiąść! Mieliśmy bilety na dwudniową przepustkę, ale po mniej niż pół dnia nigdy nie wróciliśmy. To było największe rozczarowanie i strata pieniędzy na całe nasze dwutygodniowe wakacje. Skorzystaliśmy z 10% zniżki na bilety na Akropol i Partenon i bardzo podobała nam się każda część tej wycieczki z przewodnikiem. Nie polecam jednak tego konkretnego operatora autobusów HOHO. Być może są lepsi, ale był to duży wydatek i w ogóle nie spełnił oczekiwań.

Jest to praktyczne rozwiązanie, aby dostać się do portu wycieczkowego, ale ta firma była najbardziej zdezorganizowana, a przewodnicy udzielali sprzecznych informacji. Było kilka autobusów powrotnych, co oznaczało, że dotarliśmy na łódź bardzo późno.

Jeśli chodzi o audioprzewodnik, kupiłem bilety do Akropolis, więc spodziewałem się audioprzewodnika po Akropolis. Zamiast tego był to DUŻO tańszy przewodnik po miejscach, które już odwiedziłem. Również pójście pierwszego dnia niższych cen poza sezonem było błędem - wielu zrobiło to samo, więc tłumy były OGROMNE.

Wybraliśmy się stosunkowo wcześnie, przed 09:00 i do 10:00 można było spacerować i podziwiać cały Akropol bez żadnych niedogodności, ale po 10:00 było tak dużo ludzi i tłumów, że musieliśmy opuścić to miejsce.

Kierowca autobusu hoho z wycieczkami krajoznawczymi nie zaakceptował naszych voucherów i nie wpuścił nas do autobusu. Przegapiliśmy wycieczkę po akropolu. 20 minut później przewodnik z innej firmy turystycznej wyjaśnił temu samemu kierowcy, kiedy wrócił na swoją trasę, że powinniśmy zostać wpuszczeni. Jednak było już za późno, ponieważ przegapiliśmy ostatnią wycieczkę tego dnia. Na szczęście dotarliśmy tam następnego dnia, a bilety z pominięciem kolejki pozwoliły zaoszczędzić sporo czasu.

The Acropolis Museum offers free admission on March 6 (Melina Mercouri Day), March 25 (National Holiday), May 18 (International Day of Museums), and October 28 (National Holiday).
Infants aged 0-5 and EU citizens under 25 receive free admission with valid ID directly from the ticket booth, while non-EU citizens under 25 receive reduced-price entry from April to October with valid ID.
