Samo doświadczenie było niesamowite. Obsługa klienta, w której musieliśmy odebrać bilety, była przerażająca, pani była tak niegrzeczna i nieprzyjazna. Cieszę się, że nasze podekscytowanie nie pozwoliło jej stłumić naszej ekscytacji. Ponadto jaskinia lodowa, którą czujemy, miała problem z wilgocią / pleśnią? Uważamy, że coś tam było nie tak, ponieważ wyszliśmy niezwykle zdyszani, wchodząc po krótkiej rampie do windy, ponieważ byliśmy również świadkami innych odwiedzających w tej samej pozycji.

Mieliśmy idealną pogodę. Słonecznie i spokojnie. Kolejka linowa zabrała nas na wysokość 3883 m, skąd widok na okoliczne góry i lodowce jest oszałamiający. Również tunel lodowcowy i rzeźby lodowe są bardzo interesujące i piękne. Łatwo było odebrać bilety ze stacji kolejki linowej.

Kupiłem dwa bilety priorytetowe na Matterhorn, które są droższe niż standardowe bilety i zazwyczaj zapewniają pierwszeństwo wejścia na pokład, aby uniknąć kolejek i zagwarantować miejsce. Kiedy dotarliśmy na miejsce, priorytetowe wejście na pokład było zamknięte, a po rozmowie z tamtejszym zespołem okazało się, że było tak przez kilka tygodni wcześniej. Skontaktowałem się z Headout w nadziei, że otrzymam zwrot dodatkowej ceny za pierwszeństwo, którą zapłaciliśmy, a także załączyłem zdjęcie oznakowania pokazującego, że dostęp jest tymczasowo zamknięty. Minął ponad tydzień, a ja wciąż czekam na odpowiedź. Jedyne doświadczenie jest świetne, niesamowite widoki, ale pociąg był bardzo zatłoczony na początku grudnia, a wiele osób stało. Na początku sezonu restauracje na szczycie nie były jeszcze otwarte.

Pogoda poprawiła się tylko na ten dzień, nie na tyle, aby zobaczyć Matterhorn, ale było fantastycznie. Jesteśmy z północnej Australii, więc stać w śniegu i wejść do lodowej jaskini pod lodowcem, po prostu stojące wspomnienia.
