The facility is very well developed. Unfortunately, the signposts are not clearly labeled without a map. This mainly applies to the boat tours. The signposts lack approximate times for the routes indicated.Daniel

- It's a shame that you have to pay extra for parking - You can only pay by card at the supply points, people who don't want to/can't do this have no opportunity to buy supplies on site, which is a disadvantage!!! The nature experience is very beautiful!Robert

Very well signposted, the people at the park advise you on tours and everything is well organized. Panoramic bus, boat. I did the H route in 4 hours, thinking I wouldn't have the time, but 6 hours is taking your time, so there's no need to speed. Picnic tables are also provided. Really worth doing and very well organized and signposted. I'll do it again if I ever get the chance.Anja

The NP is beautiful 🤩 . The footbridges are difficult for dogs to walk on because the gaps between the planks are so large that their paws get stuck. The bigger the paws, the safer.Mareen

Selbst in der Woche ohne Ferien sehr überlaufen.
Step into Croatia’s Largest National Park
The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvice Lakes National Park greets you with a symphony of colors—turquoise, emerald, and deep blue—reflecting in the crystal-clear lakes. Wooden footbridges and pathways wind through the lush forests, guiding you on an enchanting exploration. You begin your journey taking in the breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down moss-covered cliffs. Watch the Great Waterfall, Veliki Sla, plunging down a height of 78 meters, and go for a tranquil boat ride on the largest lake of the park, the Kozjak. A panoramic train ride will take you through the verdant forests, where you can catch sight of deer herds and bears thriving in nature.
A Day amid Nature's Best
Vibrant orchids peek through the foliage carpeting the park in over 1200 plant species. Continue your adventure, following the hiking trails that lead deeper into the park. You have the option to choose between the north entrance, known as Plitvice lakes entrance 1, located just above the Lower Lakes, while the south entrance, Plitvice lakes entrance 2, is next to the Upper Lakes. With the northern entrance, you get to explore the lakes Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, and Novakovića Brod of Donji Jezera Canyon and the 12 lakes of Gornja Jezera if you opt for the southern entrance.
