Everything worked perfectly. Except the wait in front of the audio guide station. Long waiting time, be sure to book Ticket Plus. The villa district is really beautiful.Anja

The visit to Pompeii was a wonderful experience. We took the train from Naples. Very cheap 12 euros for 2 people return. On site, however, we had to walk a long way. We weren't quite sure where the entrance was for us. There is supposed to be a shuttle bus to the station, but we didn't bother looking for it. At the ticket office, it was initially unclear where we had to queue. I think it would be great if the signage was a bit better, then you would get lost less. The visit to the ruins was great and well accompanied by an audio guide.Kevin

Ticketing was good. Screen a bit difficult to see in the sun and location indicator didn't work. Maybe better with headphones to hear explanation. Possibly next time would choose a guide to accompanyEric

The history and ability to walk about freely with the audio tour guide perfectly suited our needs. We could go at our own pace and our own destinations within the city. If I can do it over again, I would bring more snacks and drinks to help along the hike, as well as headphones to help with the audio tour. Otherwise, you have to hold the audio guide up to your ear like a phone.Jorge

Most of the houses, although they could be visited and had opening and closing hours on the door, were not open. So of all the houses that are open to the public and within the established schedule we could only visit 3 and the rest were closed not for new excavation or remodeling simply there was no one and there was no sign explaining that they were not open within their schedule.
