Your Experience
The private full-day tour of Kuala Lumpur is a fantastic way to experience cultural and historical landmarks. The activity includes skip-the-line access to Malaysia's iconic landmarks, such as the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, King's Palace, and Batu Caves. You will also visit Merdeka Square, the National Mosque, the century-old Railway Station, and the National Museum.
Sightsee Kuala Lumpur
Your private tour begins with a visit to the Petronas Twin Towers, one of the world's tallest buildings. The observation deck and sky bridge between the towers offer incredible city views. The next stop is Merdeka Square, also called Independence Square, which commemorates the end of colonial rule. Following that, visit the National Mosque (with its 73-m-high (240 ft) minaret and green and blue tiled main dome resembling an open umbrella), the royal palace, and the century-old Railway Station (designed in a distinctly Moorish style).
Climb the Colourful Batu Caves Stairs
Next, travel to Batu Caves, an ancient limestone hill on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. Batu Caves is a popular tourist attraction with a Hindu temple and shrine. The main attraction here is the steep 272-step climb up the colorful steps. The caves also house numerous statues of Hindu gods and monkeys. You will see the 140-foot-tall Lord Murugan statue here. Next, visit Thean Hou Temple, a six-tiered temple dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou.
Visit the King’s Palace and the KL Tower
After all the climbing, head to relax in the Lake Gardens, followed by a tour of the National Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery before making your way to Istana Negara. Here take selfies at the King's Palace to post on your Insta. The next stop is the Kuala Lumpur Tower, one of the world's tallest telecommunication towers. Get panoramic city views from a height of 1,483 ft (450 m). The tour ends at the lively Central Market, where you can shop for souvenirs before your guide drops you back at the hotel.
