Hirakata Park is Japan's oldest theme park, located just a short walk from Hirakata Koen Station in Osaka. It offers a variety of attractions for the whole family, from thrilling rides to relaxing gardens to cute animals. Start your adventure in the adrenaline-infused zone, where you can enjoy over 40 rides and attractions. Experience the high-speed twists of the Red Falcon roller coaster, or the breathtaking views of the city from the Skywalker Ferris wheel, which stands at 80m. For more excitement, hop on the Pirate Ship, which swings like a pendulum over the park’s hilly landscape.
Rose Gardens, Animal Encounters & Unlimited Ride Upgrades
After the adrenaline rush, unwind in the serene Rose Garden, where you can admire over 200 varieties of roses in 4 themed areas. The gardens encapsulate different global vibes, from the classic English to the serene Japanese, and the romantic French. Don’t forget to walk through the Rose Tunnel, a stunning archway covered with roses. Animal lovers will also enjoy the park’s 2 dedicated zones, the Wonder Garden and the Indoor Wakuwaku Animal Village. In the former, you can observe unique animals such as red pandas, squirrel monkeys, and otters in their natural habitats. In the latter, you can interact with a diverse selection of animals, such as capybaras, meerkats, and turtles. You can even feed and pet them!
